Halyard Collar Folding
To make your Halyard collar lay flat, button the lowest 6 buttons, then fold your collar in half, laying the button side down against your collar bones and leaving the buttonhole side on the outside. This will put your top buttonhole right below the fold. Reach over with this buttonhole & attach it to the button that’s on the neckline shaping, rather than the one on the button band.
