My Experience

Where I got it: Jill Draper Makes stuff provided this skein for me to try.

Needles I used: Hiya Hiya US 3/3.25 mm

Blocked Gauge I got: 25 sts/40 rows = 4"/10 cm

My Thoughts: Yeah, Cormo. This is one of my favourite breeds (maybe my actual favourite) because it’s soft, springy, velvety - it’s got the wonderful softness of Merino, but more bounce and life. The fabric is a little nubbly because the yarn isn’t perfectly smooth and I really love all that character. It’s also fun that the colourway is semisolid in deep autumn oranges. Plus, Jill is an amazing human and I know she’s incredibly thoughtful about sourcing her fibre and making her yarn. It’s all USA-grown and made.

What I might design with it: This would be such a great choice for seamless sweaters that won’t stretch out of shape. I could knit Stockinette in this yarn forever.
